New information from AndroidCentral revealed the potentially new name for the device and that it is slated for a June 6, as opposed to previous reports that marked it for a June 10 release. Last week, we reported that the HTC One X would be launched for Sprint as the HTC Jet, while previous reports had the device under the moniker HTC Jewel.
The EVO One will be equipped with a 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED display and will have a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, the same CPU found in AT&T’s upcoming version of the One X. When released, the EVO One will run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The handset will also feature a 2,650 mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, an 8-megapixel rear and 2.0-megapixel front facing camera, and LTE connectivity.
Other features for the EVO One include Beats Audio and Sense 4.0. The EVO One is reportedly black and red, and it comes with a kickstand similar to the one found on the original EVO.
