The G2 and the myTouch 4G have a great deal in common: both run Google’s Android OS 2.2 (Froyo), can connect to T-Mobile’s 4G network, and are made by HTC.

The most significant difference is in their design. The G2 includes a landscape-oriented sliding keyboard, while the myTouch 4G has a tablet shape.

The G2 has a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, 12 GB of storage capacity, and a 5 megapixel camera.

The myTouch 4G has a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen and 8 GB of storage capacity. It also sports a 5 megapixel camera, plus it adds a front-facing VGA one for video conferencing.
