San Rafael, CA — TealPoint Software, the leading developer of business and consumer applications for Palm connected organizers, announced today the release of TealPhone version 4.00 for Palm OS handhelds.

Supercharge the address book with TealPhone, the contacts replacement with superior interface and options. Highlights include enhanced display, search, phone-dialing, groups, and linking options for all your contacts.

TealPhone includes a one-screen integrated display, eye-saving large number view, quick seek index bar, recently-used city and country memory, powerful search features, TealPrint summary, entry and label printing, and switchable sorting by first name, last name, and company.

Also supported is phone number dialing through integrated phones, modems, phone add-on peripherals, and cabled and infrared GSM cell phones.

TealPhone is Palm OS 5 compatible and takes full advantage of extra address fields and enhanced display modes of the Tungsten T3, HandEra 330, Samsung, Alphasmart, and Sony Clie handhelds.

TealPhone version 4 has been completely rewritten from the ground up, adding support for full screen and landscape modes, T3 extended fields, auto-completion, extra views, 5-way navigation, and a new enhanced interface. TealPhone retails for $19.95. Availability is immediate on the TealPoint Software web site at www.tealpoint.com, and other Internet sites.

“We try to be responsive to our customers,” said Vince Lee, President of TealPoint Software. “The new additions are the result of both suggestions we’ve received and technical and testing support offered to us by helpful customers. With the enhanced database and display support, we were able to address the needs of these customers, who were already fans of the product and didn’t want to stop using the program when they purchased new hardware.”
