Technology Auction Benefits Hurricane Victims

by Reads (5,355)

Several technology web sites are holding a charity auction to benefit the Red Cross as it tries to help the many thousands of people who were victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Most of the items up for bid have been donated by companies like Microsoft, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson.

They include an Audiovox SMT5600 Windows Mobile smartphone and a Siemens SX66 Pocket PC phone, a pair of Bluetooth car kits, and much more.

Of course, this auction isn’t the only way to help the Red Cross. Yahoo! has set up a page to simplify the process of donating money to this charity with a credit card.
