TechXNY will soon be wrapping up in New York after featuring the latest and greatest in consumer technology. The irony is, this show formerly known as PC Expo has been anything but PC-centric, PDAs are the hot topic!
Sony’s new 665C released at TechXNY
But then again, PCs are somewhat boring. We’ve been using them as business tools for nearly twenty years now and that’s just not a novelty. On the other hand, it seems that PDAs just keep adding more cool features that appeal to both business professionals and your regular retail consumer. What are some of the latest cool features? HP has integrated a universal remote into the latest range of iPaqs (3900 series), Sony has put a digital camera on its NR70 device, Kyocera and Blackberry are integrating GPS technology into their respective devices (Kyocera produces PDA/Phones and Blackberry produces wireless email devices).
So if you don’t have a PDA with a color screen or that plays MP3s by now, you’ve got a lot of catching up to do, and what year are you stuck in 😉
Here’s a listing of new releases featured at TechXNY and specs for the devices:
