Bitstream has released ThunderHawk 1.10, a new version of its Pocket PC web browser.

This latest release adds support for a number of recent handhelds, including HP’s iPAQ 4155 and h4355, as well as most MDA II and XDA II cellular-wireless Pocket PCs.

ThunderHawk offers landscape support and compresses fonts and images to fit more of web pages onto the handheld’s screen. This provides a more desktop-like view of Internet web sites via a client-server technology. This browser supports CSS and DHTML, as well as SSL and 128-bit encryption.

The application is free but the service is $5.95 per month or $49.95 per year. More information can be found on the Bitstream web site.
