Time Warner Cable has introduced TWC TV  for iPhone, a free app for its customers that allows them to watch live TV from within their home, change channels, and manage their DVR.

TWC TV -- Click for Larger VersionThe software includes an interactive program guide with up to 7 days of listings. This is a searchable list of programs, and users can tap on a network logo or “watch on TV” button within a program’s description to tune compatible set-top boxes to the channel.

It also offers DVR management – users can schedule one-time and series recordings on compatible DVRs directly from the program guide. They can see a list of all upcoming recordings and make changes or cancel recordings.

TWC TV can be downloaded now from Apple’s iTunes App Store. It is a universal app, so it runs on both the iPhone and iPad.
