One of the items demonstrated at DEMOmobile last week was a very small portable printer that can be used with a Bluetooth-capable handheld. This device is now available.

The Brother m-Print Bluetooth Micro Printer offers handhelds the ability to wirelessly print documents on A7 thermal paper.

It can print four pages per minute at 300 dots per inch. This device runs off an internal, Lithium-ion battery that can print 100 or more pages on a single charge.

A handheld can send a print-job to this printer via either Bluetooth or infrared. It can also be used with a Windows laptop.

One of the chief advantages of this device is its small size. It is 3.9 inches wide, 6.3 inches long, and .7 inches thick (100mm x 160mm x 17.5mm). It weighs 10.6 ounces (300 g), including the battery and a paper cassette containing 50 sheets of thermal paper.

The m-Print Bluetooth printer is available now from eXpansys for $448.
