Toshiba announced a new Pocket PC, the e330, on its German website today. It appears to be the XScale successor to its ultra-thin e310 Pocket PC.

The e330 has the exact same styling as the e310 but uses Intel’s PXA250 Applications Processor running at 300 MHz rather than the 206 MHz Intel StrongARM processor used in the e310. It also doubles the amount of internal memory, or RAM, to 64 MB.

As with the e310, the e330 has a 3.5″ color TFT display made by NEC, a 1000mAh battery, and uses a MediaQ Graphics Controller with 256KB internal video memory to improve video processing.

On the software side, the e330 comes bundled with Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Pocket Internet Explorer, Pocket Outlook, Inbox, Windows Media Player 8, Application launcher (Home), Back up utility, Microsoft ActiveSync 3.5, Microsoft Outlook 2000, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
