The Galaxy S Aviator will have a fairly high-end featureset. It is going to launch with Android OS 2.3.6 (Gingerbread). It will also have a 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen. An 8 megapixel rear-facing camera will be joined y a front-facing one.
Thanks to its support for LTE, the smartphone will provide download and browser speeds that are up to 10 times faster than 3G, and be similar to a cable Internet connection.
U.S. Cellular has yet to announce the cost and the release date for the smartphone. Stay tuned for additional details in the coming weeks.
