U.S. Cellular is the latest wireless carrier to announce pre-sale information for the Samsung Galaxy S IV.
Customers can begin pre-ordering the smartphone from this large regional carrier on April 16, although the company hasn’t released any pricing information or told when customers can expect to actually have the phone in their hands.
The U.S. Cellular sale starts the same day as the AT&T pre-sale, which has the Galaxy S IV priced at $250 with a two-year commitment. AT&T has also not announced an exact release date for the device. T-Mobile has confirmed the smartphone will be available on its network starting May 1, but hasn’t announced any pricing information.
Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S4 at an event in New York City on March 15, showing off its hardware and features such as Smart Scroll, Smart Pause and new camera functions. Consumers have been pining for the device since long before the official announcement, and are sure to be tuned in as wireless carriers continue to make official announcements about availability and pricing.
