I pulled this form Siemens’ German press page:

Super fast with super sound: Siemens supplies pocket PC mobile phone to one of the leading US mobile radio carriers

The SX56 Windows Powered Pocket PC Phone is a pocket PC mobile phone for the US market that is being sold through AT&T Wireless, one of the country s leading mobile radio carriers. The device is a mobile phone, organizer, and MP3 player in one. The SX56 is equipped with Microsoft Office software and supports the GPRS standard*. Following the S46 mobile showcased back in March, the SX56 is the second US product to be launched onto the market by Siemens this year. It marks a further step in Siemens product offensive in the growing US market.

It looks like AT&T is finally going to get into the game. While T-Mobile, Cingular and Sprint pass them by, the tortoise has partnered with Siemens to bring them up to speed with the rest.

The SX56 seems to be almost identical to the XDA, and it may in fact be. The shell is the same, but it s still too early to tell if the inside boasts anything different. What we re hearing is that the SX56 will in fact be sold in the US as early as October 15th for $549 in AT&T stores. AT&T affiliates including local Bell s may also be selling the unit. For now, take a look at this pic.
