The Sidekick is T-Mobile’s branded name for the Danger Hiptop that was announced a long time ago. Users will be able to access the Web, email, instant messaging and basic PDA functions. T-Mobile will begin selling thE device online tomorrow at $199 after a $50 rebate. We’ll pick one up and let you know what we think.

Here’s our story archive to get you up to speed on the Danger Hiptop. Notice it was supposed to release in mid-August. I’m quite sure the FCC had a little something to do with the delay.
