The free screen-sharing software of LogMeIn’s join.me service is now available for all iOS devices. People everywhere can connect their iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches to a remote desktop, and have the ability to view its screen and instant message all others attending the virtual meeting.
Join.me supports up to 250 devices all sharing a single screen. Its uses range from a major company giving employees a visual on an important document, to a computer-savvy relative providing long distance tech support.
The mobile app, like its PC counterpart, is available free of charge. Interested users can find it in the iTunes store.
Join.me was created by the LogMeIn team, who are also responsible for the popular Ignition app. Rather than resting on its laurels with the release of join.me for iOS, LogMeIn promises that it is currently developing an Android version of the app.
