When HP first announced that it would offer Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrades for some iPAQ models, it only said these would be available sometime this summer.
Since then, HP has updated its web site to say that the upgrades will be available in late summer.
However, this company still hasn’t revealed what it will charge for the upgrades.
More About the Upgrades
HP will offer upgrades for the iPAQ hx2100, hx2400, hx2700, and hx4700 series of handhelds.
Unfortunately, some recent models from this company won’t be getting an upgrade, like the rx3000 series, the h6300 series, or the rz1715.
Windows Mobile 5.0 will bring to these models some new features, like persistent memory storage, and some upgraded ones, like improved Pocket Office applications.
More information about Windows Mobile 5.0 can be found in this article.
