Microsoft has released a new version of its Windows Mobile MSN Messenger client.
Microsoft is updating its .NET protocol to a more robust and secure one. After October 15, anyone who hasn’t downloaded the updated MSN Messenger client won’t be able to access the .NET Messenger Service, as older versions will no longer be compatible with the new protocol.
There are versions for Pocket PC 2002, Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC, Smartphone 2002, and Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone. It can be downloaded from Microsoft’s support site.
MSN Messenger is an instant messenging application. Users can text chat with anyone making use of the service, either on a Pocket PC or a desktop or laptop computer.
