DreamQuest Software will host the much anticipated wireless card tournament this Saturday. Players can participate with wireless PDA s or cell phones running the games. You don t even need the registered software, they ll let you play for free with the trial version.

DreamQuest is looking to do a few things. First, they want to make a bigger name for themselves. Well, this is a heck of a way to do it. Most, if not all, PDA owners have games. After organization, gaming is high on the list of why people even buy PDA s. DQ has been working hard to improve on their games. I wasn t very pleased with the first version, but they ve come a long way and continue to lead the pack in this genre.

Second, they want to prove that the future of wireless gaming is strong and viable.

“The future of wireless gaming begins here, as we hope our tournament will clearly demonstrate that card games don’t have to be limited to just your desktop PC or around a dining room table,” said Christopher Williamson, DreamQuest Software’s president and CEO.  “Based on the number of players who have already registered for this tournament, we expect to offer a fun and exciting evening complete with lively competition from players all over the world!”

So, what s up for grabs? First prize is a Nokia Communicator 9290, other prizes from Handango and others.
