Motorola DROID Turbo

  |   by Brighthand Staff

The Motorola DROID Turbo’s biggest selling point is its battery. The Li-Po 3900 mAh battery is large, but allows the smartphone to live for days between charges. The device also includes a 5.2-inch screen, 21-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4.

  • Pros

    • World-class battery life
    • Stunning display
    • Excellent performance
  • Cons

    • No microSD card slot
    • Loaded with bloatware

Quick Take

The Motorola Droid Turbo is a late contender as the best smartphone of 2014. Its design “flaws” -- that it’s big, bulky, and heavy -- are tradeoffs for what’s arguably its best feature: the outstanding battery life.
