This was the first of Nokia’s new models running Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system to launch in the U.S. It’s an entry-level device intended to get this company a toehold in America.     • Very affordable
    • Great build
    • Windows Phone 7.5 OS is a much more refined experience than its predecessor
  • Cons

    • Poor battery life
    • 4G performance not very impressive
    • Weak specs, especially the meager 8 GB of onboard storage that cannot be expanded

Quick Take

The Nokia Lumia 710 has the honor of being both company's first American Windows Phone and the first 4G Windows Phone, but it's actually a very basic and safe first outing. Only entry-level users need apply.
