The Palm Treo 700w is the first Pocket PC phone ever released by Palm, Inc. It is available exclusivly from Verizon Wireless in the U.S. It has a lower-resolution screen than previous Treos, but offers easy shynchronization with Microsoft Exchange and support for Verizon’s high-speed EV-DO wireless network. It comes with a suite of productivity applications for handling the user’s address book and calendar, plus a web browser. This smartphone includes support for Microsoft’s new push email system. This means that those who use Microsoft Exchange can get their messages sent to them as soon as they arrive on the server. Office Mobile, which is bundled with this device, lets users work with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Files.
