T-Mobile G2

  |   by Brighthand Staff

The T-Mobile G2 has a 3.7-inch, WVGA touchscreen, an optical touchpad, and landscape-oriented keyboard. Rather than sliding, the keyboard swivels out on the “Z Hinge”. As an Android OS-based smartphone that is suitable for either business or personal use. it comes with an array of communication, productivity, and entertainment software. The G2 is one of the first to support T-Mobile HSPA+ service, which means it is able to wirelessly transfer data fast enough to rival or surpass current 4G networks.

  • Pros

    • Excellent design
    • Fast processor, ample memory
    • Keyboard mostly well laid out
  • Cons

    • No dedicated number row in keyboard,
    • Not as thin as many devices
    • Long-term use of Z Hinge unknown

Quick Take

A solid performer in all areas, with excellent performance and long battery life.
