The HTC EVO Shift 4G is a smartphone for people who want to do a lot of email and texting with their smartphone, as it’s relatively large keyboard is ideal for these purposes. Combine that with an average-sized display and you have a device more focused on getting things done than having fun. There’s nothing wrong with that — not at all, but it’s something that those who are buying it should be aware of.

HTC EVO Shift 4GIt has a mid-range price and a mid-range feature set, so it’s undoubtedly a decent value. Add in the fact that it’s just been updated with the latest version of Google’s operating system for smartphones and it’s something many Sprint customers should consider.

  • Good keyboard
  • 4G wireless data
  • Decent battery life

  • Weak Adobe Flash support
