HTC Touch Diamond2 Review: Conclusion

June 4, 2009 by Jen Edwards Reads (29,536)

The HTC Touch Diamond2 is, like Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way. The form factor is small and thin, the display is gorgeous, and the TouchFlo 3d interface is simply amazing.

The device is powerful and beautiful, with only a couple of disappointments, mainly with the camera.

If you want the ultimate in style, something that sets itself apart from the average cookie cutter black plastic smartphone, the this may be just the gem you’re looking for. I certainly enjoyed using it during the review period, and it will be hard to go back to plain ‘ol Windows Mobile now that I’ve experienced the Touch Diamond 2.

  • Sleek and sexy design
  • Snappy performance
  • Amazing TouchFlo interface–you may forget you’re using a Windows Mobile device!

  • Voice quality is good, but could be better
  • Slight disappointment in the camera; under and over exposure seem to be a problem with my test unit
  • Currently, high cost due to lack of carrier subsidy, but that’s likely to change
