If you are the owner of an iPaq 2215 PDA then you ve made a wise purchase, so I m here to suggest another wise purchase in order to protect the 2215 from ever getting damaged. The Metal Deluxe Case from InnoPocket is a great solution for providing protection and Storage for your iPaq 2215. The InnoPocket metal case tightly encloses the 2215 in an anodized aluminum cover that s sure to protect your handheld from wear & tear and the occasionally 4 foot drop. At $32.90 the InnoPocket case is very reasonably priced.

One of the biggest concerns with PDA cases is whether the fit is good enough to hold the device in during both normal use and the abnormal occurrence of a drop. With the InnoPocket case it is definitely true that your 2215 is securely in place and not going anywhere. The iPaq 2215 is held securely in place by the case via two metal clips that line up with the holes on the back of the PDA. The neoprene lining on the inside also prevents sliding. I found the fit to be very tight, but not so tight that it was impossible to get the 2215 into the case, so in other words it was a perfect fit. The PDA would not come out of the case with any amount of shaking once in.
the iPaq 2215 snuggly enclosed in its case, we’ll call it the Silver Bullet!
The look of the InnoPocket case is stylish and futuristic. It s not beautiful like leather, but leather is more expensive and does not offer as much protection as an aluminum case. For an extra $9.00 you can get a custom engraving of up to 15 characters. InnoPocket was nice enough to personalize ours by placing a bargainPDA.com insignia on the back. If you get an engraving the case is non-returnable, so keep that in mind.

The moving and functional parts on the case are all good. The book cover style opening flap of the case is held in place securely when closed via a clip, and is opened fairly easily by using your thumb to give a lift to the clip holding the flap closed and then pulling it back. I found the hinge on the case to be a little bit wobbly, but nothing too distracting. The case has cut-outs in all the right places. You can still hear audio via the speaker cutout on the back of the case and the microphone is accessible via holes that match up with those on the 2215. You of course won t be able to charge your 2215 in its cradle while it is in its case, but you can use a synch cable for synching and charging since InnoPocket has included a cutout on the bottom of the case to get to the synch port. One nice value-add that InnoPocket provides is an area in the cover to hold an extra Secure Digital card. This makes carrying around an extra card very easy and with SD cards being so small and easy to lose it s extra peace of mind when it s held somewhere close to the 2215 in a secure place.

Overall I give thumbs up to buying this case. I really have no complaints, the fact you can t charge the 2215 in a cradle when in this case is true for any other case so that s not a negative. For $32.90 you won t find much else better to protect your PDA and the case still manages to look stylish even though it gives rugged protection. The InnoPocket iPaq 2215 / 2210 case can be purchased online from InnoPocket.com.
