Motorola Cliq XT for T-Mobile USAThe Motorola Cliq XT is my favorite device out of the several I’ve reviewed over the last few months. It’s small, powerful and it just works, whether I’m sending email, catching up with my social circle or watching videos. I experienced some slowdowns while trying to download large attachments, but I think the network in my area is to blame, not the device.

If you’re looking for a slim, pocketable Android-based phone that keeps you in touch with your friends, whether that’s through text or voice, take a closer look at the Cliq XT. It’s a real winner in my book.

  • Excellent voice quality
  • Great battery life
  • Camera takes really nice photos
  • Excellent Web and email experiences

  • Relatively slow downloads (though that could signal a problem with T-Mobile’s network in my area)
  • microSD card slot under the battery cover
