Description

The BlackBerry Storm2 is a touchscreen-oriented device that has a great deal in common with its predecessor, but comes with a redesigned screen, Wi-Fi, and updated software.

It has a 3.2-inch, 480-by-360-pixel display, and depends on its on-screen keyboard for text input.

The Storm2 also has a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS receiver, and a microSD card slot

Verizon Wireless has one version, the BlackBerry 9550, which offers support for this carrier's EV-DO mobile broadband service. It can also connect to GSM networks when roaming outside of the U.S., including the 3G standard HSDPA.

Vodafone is offering a purely GSM version, the BlackBerry 9500.
