The Nokia Lumia 710 has the honor of being both company's first American Windows Phone and the first 4G Windows Phone, but it's actually a very basic and safe first outing. Only entry-level users need apply.

Very affordable
Great build
Windows Phone 7.5 OS is a much more refined experience than its predecessor

Cons

Poor battery life
4G performance not very impressive
Weak specs, especially the meager 8 GB of onboard storage that cannot be expanded
