Survey Gives a Profile of a Typical Pocket PC User

Spb Software House has released the results of the first Spb Pocket PC Survey, a global survey for Pocket PC users with over 10,000 participants.

The average age of survey respondents is about 35 years, and it is no surprise that nearly one fifth of Pocket PC users have computer related occupations.

The most popular brands of handhelds are HP iPAQ (57 percent) and Dell Axim (15 percent).

Typical survey respondents have been using a Pocket PC for an average of about 2 years. About 40% of respondents said that other members of their family also use a Pocket PC.

More than half of respondents have also used devices running the Palm OS.
