Absolutist has released TetriBox, a collection of games that includes eighteen variations of the arcade classic, Tetris. Some of the games are very similar to the original, while others feature different block sizes and shapes, different playing fields, and unique rules.
Music and sound effects are included as well, and high scores can be uploaded to the developer's web site.
TetriBox is available now for Palm OS and Pocket PC devices for $16.95, as well as for Windows, Linux, and Mac for $18.
The controls are the same across all platforms, to provide a unified play experience.

CrazySoft has released a modern update to a classic game, Snake.
The object of the game is to control a snake that grows longer as time passes and it eats more fruit, making sure that it does not hit a wall or cross over itself. Bonus objects include soda to shrink the snake and make it easier to control, meat to lengthen the snake, making it harder to control but earning a large point bonus.
This version features impressive graphics and an all-new Adventure mode along with Easy and Hard gameplay modes. The player can use the stylus to tap on the screen, the hard buttons, or the Tapwave Zodiac joystick to control the snake. Sound effects are included, as well as high score tables.
Palm OS 3 or higher device required (color or greyscale), and a hi-res version is also available.

PDAMill has released Gamebox Solitaire II for Pocket PC. The game features ten new versions of Solitaire, including Australian, Bastion, Eagle Wings, Five Piles, Nestor, Penguin, Puss's Corner, Scorpion, Spider and Yukon.
A hint feature has been added, as well as enhanced visual effects, an unlimited undo feature, and an automatic game save feature. Fifteen minutes of background music by Jason Surguine is also included. Players are able to control how cards are dealt, moved, flipped, and played, and the new statistics system tracks player improvement.
Gamebox Solitaire II is available now for Pocket PC for $9.95. A Palm OS version is expected to be released in July.

Kung Fu 72 is a side-scrolling arcade-style fighting game for Pocket PC handhelds. Play as Chang Pei, a martial artist attempting to defeat Shao Ping and the evil henchmen guarding his palace.
Each level has a large number of enemies, plus a final boss character that must be defeated in order to advance to the next stage of the game.
Features include a 70's style kung fu movie soundtrack and sound effects, a high score table, and a bonus game mode.
