AT&T has been acquiring a number of smartphones, including the user-friendly Android-powered Pantech Flex and cutting-edge Sony Xperia and as of today it appears another device can be added to the list, the LG Escape.
According to @EVLeaks who leaked the phone's vitals via Twitter today, the handset is expected to run on AT&T's LTE network. The image that accompanied this unconfirmed information clearly shows the AT&T logo.
LG's upcoming handset is going to be based on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and will sport a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and a 5-megapixel rear facing camera. The device will also house a sizeable 2150 mAh battery.
The LG escape is just one of the many recent announcements that have been made in a frenzy to hit markets before the iPhone 5 release, which is expected to be announced this Wednesday. Unfortunately there has yet to be word on when we can expect LG or AT&T to make a formal unveiling or how much it will cost upon release.
