Those who are in the market for a new Samsung Galaxy S III can save a bundle by shopping online at Amazon, rather than going to their wireless carrier.
Although most Americans typically buy their smartphones directly from their telcos, that isn't always the way to get the best prices. For example, Amazon Wireless has the Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint Galaxy S III for as little as half the regular $200 price.
The Verizon's and Sprint's versions are priced at $100 for new subscribers, or $150 for current customers who qualify for an upgrade.
Amazon has AT&T's version for $119 for new subscribers or $139 for renewing ones.
All of these prices require a new or renewed two-year wireless service contract. They are for the versions with 16GB of built-in storage capacity.
An Overview of this Smartphone

It currently runs Android 4.0 on a dual-core processor, but an upgrade to Android 4.1 for this model is expected soon.
