The next Nexus smartphone is expected to be unveiled a week from today. A nearly full set of specs of this model have now leaked out.
This will go by the name "Nexus 4", as it will be fourth in the series, although it will be the first to be produced by LG. Previous Nexus devices have come from HTC, Samsung, and Asus.
It will reportedly have a 4.7-inch, 1280 x 768 touchscreen. On the inside will be 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor with 2GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to have 16GB storage, but where it will include a microSD memory card slot is unknown.
In addition, the Nexus 4 is allegedly going to have an 8 MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, and a 2100mAh battery.
The LG Nexus 4 will supposedly be one of the first devices with a new version of Google's operating system, Android 4.2. However, very little is known about this upcoming version at this time.
Google has scheduled a press event for Oct. 29. The fourth-generation Nexus smartphone is supposedly going to be unveiled at this event, along with some Nexus-branded tablets running Android 4.2.
