Samsung has officially taken the wraps off the Galaxy Premier, a slightly more modestly-specced version of its popular Galaxy S III model.
It will feature the same general look as the Galaxy S III, and many of the same specs, such as Google Android OS 4.1 (aka Jelly Bean), Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC connectivity, It will have the same cameras: a rear-facing 8-megapixel shooter and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing one.
The display, while still sporting the same 720 x 1280 resolution, has been shrunken a bit down to 4.65-inches, and other modified specs include 1 GB of RAM and a dual-core 1.5 GHz TI OMAP 4470 processor.
The device has only been made official in the Ukraine so far, however, so current pricing and release date information is limited to that particular region. Its price, 5,555 hryvnias, equates to about $680 and it's scheduled for a November release.
We'll keep you posted on when or if the Galaxy Premier will be coming to American markets.
